Before that I was an L.A.-based independent journalist. I have also contributed to both podcasts and documentaries, most recently I was featured in Tubi’s “Gone Before Her Time: Brittany Murphy.”

I have penned pieces for The New York Times about dating, motherhood and breaking up fights. I wrote about post-gender fashion on TikTok for InStyle Magazine and about losing one of my best friends to the modern American cyber-cult QAnon for Cosmopolitan. I wrote guides, features and essays about addiction for VICE. Los Angeles Magazine published my piece about drugs, food and Hollywood. I covered medication-assisted treatment, drug policy and addiction for The Fix. I also covered entertainment news, features, style and events for The Hollywood Reporter and People. I spent seven days cooking Anthony Bourdain recipes and wrote about it for Foodbeast. I got my start writing about toxic relationships for HealthyPlace.com and scored a Silver Digital Health Award for my blog which competed with top mental health sites and educational institutions.
